M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Literary synopsis

Judith lives a dull and boring existence as a secretary. Fortunately, her passion for contemporary art allows her to escape it. Her life changes when she discovers the works of a young, emerging artist woman. She’s far from imagining that a long journey in search of herself, of her fantasies and obsessions, is going to begin.

Relation of the novel to the artist’s practice

La Collectionneuse is completely part of Barbara Cardinale’s art practice of. Her writing and her drawing are complementary related: the first generates images, the second generates stories. In La Collectionneuse, she created the two main characters in the same way that she creates a drawing, questioning the same themes and subjects, but from another angle.
