His film installation Las pantallas (Eqqus Ferus Caballus) is presented on two screens depicting full-size images of horses that come from the chapter of the film titled La Posada (The Inn), and were conceived as canvases onto which the different fragments and stages of his current flamenco project are projected. Las pantallas (Eqqus Ferus Caballus) reflects on the history of gypsies in Spain and the role of horses in their migration, seeking to confront the human gaze with the equine one. The installation includes imagery that guides us through this historical context, with quotes, observations and video footage from Kazakhstan recorded with the gypsy guitarist Emilio Caracafé. The work also presents a collage of short performances that are half document and half allegory, which reflect on things from everyday happenings and various migrations through to catastrophe in the Eurasian space, including the life of the gypsy and Roma community, the domestication of horses, chess, heroin, and the terror of the gulag camp in Karaganda. The piece is marked by five flamenco palos: soleá, bulerías, tangos, martinete and a seguiriya.
