Life has often proved that murder can be a game, a vehicle for drawing attention to oneself. But what if murder is a work of art, when art catches life up and blots it out? When art leaves simulation behind and takes on a life of its own.

Texts about art, on art, and of art are part of Stefan Banz' artistic practice since the beginning. The novel was the official publication of his solo exhibition Muhammad Ali, at Kunstmuseum Luzern in 2001.
