Untitled

Dan Graham

1974

Drawing, 12 x (40 x 55 cm).
Materials: b/w photo

Collection: Collection M HKA, Antwerp (Inv. no. S0144).

These sketches by Dan Graham (artist / architect / critic of the American concept art tradition), reflect, as all his other works, on the borders of perception away from the photographic eye. They are design-drawings of a two-chamber video installation. This installation can only be made by the interfering of the viewer. What we see is an image/reflection of the reality in which we stand.
