Literary synopsis

Four young people fight in New York against the omnipresence of the surveillance system. Deeper and deeper they get lost in a hall of mirrors of virtuality, fiction and reality. There are three deaths and a decision at the end. Ten years after the 9/11 attacks New York goes back to normalcy, and a new World Trade Center is being built - the 1WTC. Tom, a former employee of the U.S. military intelligence, creates the Foundation of the building. His girlfriend Jennifer, a gallery owner, meets the German artist Mikael Mikael in the library. Together with the mysterious hacker Asanta, they document the ubiquitous surveillance in the city. When Tom receives a mysterious order of his former superiors, the line between simulation and reality starts to blur.
