Literary synopsis

Cyprien Morus, born into a family of Russian immigrants, adopts the lifestyle of the world of the Parisian bourgeoisie. Eager of public recognition and rewards, Cyprien Morus, with his family - his wife, his children, his father, his sister and his Venezuelan brother-in-law exotic - tries to be a relevant actor in his social environment. He organises events either in Paris or in Cabourg, his summer residence, none of which with much success.
