Literary synopsis

Stormland tells the story of the lone rebel; the angry blogger Böddi who lives in Krókur, a small town in the North of Iceland, and hates modern society in its entirety. Böddi is a man of letters in a world of materialism gone nuts. On his weblog (rokland.blogspot.com) he criticizes everything from the local bum to the Prime Minister, thus creating enemies by the minute. Before long he has become an outlaw in his own hometown. Rokland is the story of a man who loses everything. Böddi loses his job, his love as well as his mother. Finally he snaps and goes riding down south, to Reykjavik, with a gun in his pocket. He’s going to kill the Prime Minister and make his revolution.
