Onder de noemer Visite organiseerde het M HKA – in samenwerking met LOCUS, het steunpunt voor bibliotheken, cultuur- en gemeenschapscentra en lokaal cultuurbeleid – regelmatig tentoonstellingen buiten de muren van het museum. Van 03.05.2015 tot 25.05.2014 gingen een aantal sleutelwerken uit de M HKA-collectie naar Bornem.
De streek is gekend, vertrouwd, verweven met je dagelijks leven? We confronteerden hen met het tegendeel. Een selectie van kunstwerken uit de vaste collectie van het M HKA gidste je door Bornem. De werken stonden opgesteld op diverse locaties in Hingene en Buitenland.
We infiltreren om de ons omringende ruimte te delen: fysiek en mentaal. Ruimte delen is de ruimte alert betreden, is durven afwijken van (historische) functies en verwachtingen. Het is leren anders kijken om daarna intenser te beleven. Niets biedt meer perspectieven dan kunst om deze ervaring te induceren.
