Stijn Verhoeff and Jasper Coppes are visual artists with a fondness for silent objects and a preference for people who say ‘no’. Together and separately Stijn Verhoeff and Jasper Coppes make exhibitions, spatial installations, films, books and performances. They have both been researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academie in the Netherlands, where their correspondence and collaboration has started. Since 2010 they have produced two publications with which they brought attention to various known and unknown writers, including their own writing. Their co-written artist's novel It is a Roller has been part of various international art events and has been equally reviewed as a novel and as a work of art.
