M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Michael Tedja

Miek Hoekzema

° 1971

Born in Rotterdam (NL).

Michael Tedja is a leading Dutch painter and writer who has been active in the Dutch art scene with his paintings and installations for 25 years. His work always displays an idiosyncratic relation with the circulation and recycling of images; Tedja is permanently seeking new contexts to keep the meaning of his work elusive. His work is expressive and linguistic, full of references to artists and autobiographical elements, with abstract and figurative visual languages constantly complementing each other. Michael Tedja teaches at the Rietveld Academy and exhibits once every five years, most recently in the CoBrA Museum.
