Kambui Olujimi

Kambui Olujimi was born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. His work manifests collective psychic space in order to interrupt notions of normality and inevitability. He has exhibited at Li Shui Photography Museum of China, The Smithsonian Institution, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, The Finnish National Gallery/Kiasma Museum, The Polish National Gallery/Zacheta Museu, and The National Museum of Spain/Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. Olujimi has received fellowships from Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, The Apex Art Outbound Fellowship to Kellerberin, Australia, and was a two-year fellow at The Fine Art Work Center in Provincetown. Recent projects include Wayward North at Art in General and Love to Lose at Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco.
