Born in Amsterdam (NL).
Jasper Coppes is an artist and educator working between the Netherlands and Scotland. His films, sculptures and text-based works often investigate processes of transformation; in the form of narratives applied to, or inserted into, specific environments. Earlier books include Indentations (Galerie van Gelder) and It is a Roller (co-written with Stijn Verhoeff). His work was recently exhibited at Glasgow International (2018), Glasgow Short Film Festival (2017), Galerie van Gelder (2015), Grazer Kunstverein (2015), and International Film Festival Rotterdam (2014).
