Fiona Banner lives and works in London. She was short-listed for the Turner Prize in 2002. Her work repeatedly explores the themes of narrative and history. Her recent installation Harrier and Jaguar placed two fighter planes in the central atrium of Tate Britain in London. She often uses text and performance in her work and publishing is at the heart of her practice.
